If you are a travel blogger and aspiring one or established by now there is one thing that you must absolutely have.
A Fit Body.
Yes, I know a lot of you take this for granted and focus more on finding your niche, photography, writing skills, blogging hacks, marketing tricks and so on and so forth. But tell me one thing how do you plan to travel round the world, above the hilltops and deep into the jungle if you are not physically fit.
Maybe you are young now and backpack often without any issue. But like you think long term for your travel blog, you plan ahead; similarly you must think long term in maintaining the most important ingredient for a traveller.
Start exercising, if you haven’t already!
Every travel blogger is not lucky enough to get flight sponsorships and luxury travelling. A lot of travel writers slog their way. They travel in buses, walk long paths, stay in low budget hotels and eat in old gallis, ofcourse to get authentic experience but also because they can’t be frugal with money.
To tell you the truth I realized this today morning so thought of sharing my realization. I am the laziest person on the Earth. I am super creative at finding excuses in not getting up in the morning and going for a run. Then yesterday, I read this article on akka Ironman, Milind Soman’s journey into the world of a fit runner, Why I Run and it stirred some hard-hitting thoughts.
I realized that age will always move forward and I have still so many places to explore and experience. How do I strike a balance between age and my travelling dream?
I Run.
Running in open (I hate the treadmill run), is a liberating experience and I don’t know what hormones it releases but I get creative after that. The idea for this blog came while I was running J
So, stay conscious and travel the world without any aches.
